While it's far from perfect, Amazon does offer advanced search tools
under each individual category. The one for books allows you to search
a full name, in direct or inverted order, and apply a series of limits
including pub. date, format and language. It certainly doesn't resolve
all of the differentiating problems, but it does eliminate some of the
issues you illustrate in your previous email:
