I keep going back to this statement as well. Concepts that caught my eye:

* Work effort focused on "what we want"
* Predictive, predetermined activity central to work effort (our job is not
to be responsive to our users, our job is to generate X)
* User input distracts from (/is not relevant to) central work effort
