Thanks for your clarifications. Your responses are helpful. I do have
concerns that "starting with the user" and always "giving them what they
want do tend" will often merge into the same thing, as fear of
irrelevancy possibly becomes librarian's predominant concern and driver.
I appreciate the distinctions. I only hope that they can hold in
practice!
