There has been some discussion on the list about WorldCat local,
there is an article in Information Today by Barbara Quint "OCLC's
WorldCat Local: A Promising Development for Library Patrons" for
those interested.

Disclosure: someone will probably mention I'm from OCLC, but I
haven't work with the WorldCat local team nor worked on the
WorldCat local project. Just providing some non-OCLC information
