Applications are invited for the post of Systems Librarian at the University of Portsmouth. The successful applicant, who will have previous experience of managing a large database system as well as advanced IT skills, will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Library’s essential systems, including catalogue, loans operations, acquisitions and cataloguing. He or she will work as part of a team charged with developing the Library’s systems to deliver services appropriate to the rapidly changing needs and behaviours of today’s users.
