speakers on the west coast

Hi,
I am helping to plan this conference for a CARL related event in August or
September of this year.  We are wondering if we can find someone who knows a
ton about Next Generation Catalogs, and would be a dynamic and interesting
speaker, hopefully already on the West Coast because of course, our budget
is small.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
