Re: Open Book Cover Images Database Dead?

On the surface it sounds like an interesting project but I wonder if
there are licensing issues involved. Would book owners be able to
scan book covers and submit to a database? Would we have access to
the images quickly enough to take the place of services from Amazon
Syndetics
and others?

On the bright side reviews would certainly be possible. Though I guess
if Library Thing
has not run into legal issues with their database it may be ok. Just
think, you would have
access to all of my Silver Surfer comic covers from library thing!
