That is cool. I was familiar with some of the existing crosswalk work. What
I had hoped to do, back in the day, was populate existing records in our
database, which had LCSH, with the appropriate Deweys (and obviously,
assigning multiple Deweys per record was fine). This was intended primarily
for collection maintenance purposes. I felt that if the crosswalk had been
done the data should be somewhere, and that an automated population should
have been feasible.
