Aleph does support this, with a kind of implementation of the MARC
linking fields 774 and 773

002655 for an example of how this record has 'down' links to two
specific article records, and click on one of the articles to see how it
links back up to the 'parent' record.

The implementation could be better probably, but we use it where we have
photocopied articles or chapters from books in our 'offprint'
collection.

Parent-child records. 'Sounds like a good idea to me. I think such a
thing would facilitate enhanced browsing.
