In a fit of creativity I explored a bit of tagging, automatic
classification, and Delicious over the weekend. See:

   http://del.icio.us/infomotions/alex/

The fruit of this labor is a set of 675 ebooks posted to Delicious.
To create these postings I:

   1. Used a computer program to generate 5 statistically relevant
keywords from the full texts of ebooks.

   2. Used a second computer program to do the same thing and added
them to the pile.

   3. Used a third program to create "the most significant sentence"
in the full text.

   4. Added the title words to the pile.

   5. Added the author words to the pile.

   6. Normalized the words (lowering case, removing punctuation, etc.)

   7. Removed stop words.

   8. Used the last computer program to post all the links to Delicious.

Food for thought regarding libraries, books, classification, social
networking, the advantages of full text, Web 2.0 technologies, etc.
