Bread and butter, and jam and bologna and sardines as well. The ILS soaks up
a disproportionate (in my mind) amount of the library budget. If it doesn't
work well, it needs to be
* Improved
* Less expensive
* Improved and less expensive
* Made irrelevant
Given our legacy data sets (the dead tree thingies), we're stuck with 1-3
for the near future. It's possible that OSS could get us closer to 2 and 3.
