Hi, Bill,

I have a similar problem--I need to get a few other things done! Keeping up
with this list has been too intense, not to mention having to resist the
temptation to write back. I haven't wanted to complain--I'm the one who
subscribed, after all.

For a lively and idealistic community like this one, even I (a late- to
post-modern adopter of social software) would recommend moving the
discussion to a blog, so that when I have time to kill I can just go see
what's cooking, rather than work up a sweat slugging it out with the
incoming traffic while staying on top of mission-critical mail. People who
thrive on the play-by-play could then stay *in synch* via their Live
Bookmarks or whatever.

What I really wanted to say here was that to me it has seemed oddly
contradictory, in fact, that this discussion was launched as a mailing list
and not as a Web log...

I am thinking about quitting this list because I could spend my entire day
reading the excellent content here. I will resubscribe in a few months if I
get time. This is a great resource but I simply do not have enough hours in
the day.
