Err... perhaps you got me mixed up with another Andy, I work
for OCLC not NCSU. But I'll try to answer your question from
an outsiders point of view. The NCSU browse view does provide
the status of the resource, such as availability and location.
For example, here is a browse entry:

Would be nice to click on "Stacks" and get a walking map through
the library, sort of like you get driving instructions from your
favorite travel site, to location of where the resource "should be".
