An index should look like a printed index in a book where you
can dip in at any point and can go both ways at leisure, then click
on any line and get the entries linked to it. Like here:

I'm after clarifying matters. As your question above shows,
it seems necessary. Esp. with "index", I've found more
diversity of concepts than with much else.

I was trying to point out difficulties. As soon as your design can be
