Thanks!  We're in the process of building a faster/simpler
programmatic interface for it, which should allow much more
extensibility.

Actually, we do that too, but with a different interface:

That is also available in RSS2, ATOM, MODS, MARCXML and several other
formats.  Just change "html" to "atom" in the link above to see the
ATOM feed.

You can also change "import" to "edit" to see recently modified records.
