A trick I've seen on social network-y sites before is to create an
account for some group-y thing.  David Hasselhoff, Dean Edwards,
Dallas Cowboys, what-have-you.  Then other accounts "friend" that
accoun, and that's how they form groups around that interest.

Assuming a nice API to feed LibraryThing, what do people think of
"real" libraries adding their catalogs to that site in order to be
supernodes for their patrons to group around?
