Would this list be the correct place to do the following?

We are in the position of creating our own web based OPAC
while we save up the $ to buy a "real" ILS.

Each night we dump certain Marc tags into text files,
massage them with a few perl scripts, import them into
mySQL and show them to our patrons using LAMP(P=perl and PHP).

Without getting into too much detail right now, I wonder
if this list would be a good place to get feedback on
what we have done, and what we are planning to do? And even
get help with pointers to existing code that might help us
out, or even get totally new ideas to try out.

I'd suggest that if yes, that the subject heading for the emails
dealing with this start with TNRDLS (Thompson-Nicola Regional
District Library System) so that that it would be easier to
focus on or ignore threads dealing with this.

What do you think?
