If you go to the particular category on Amazon's site (Music, DVD, etc.)
the Advanced Search page changes to fit the format.

DVD:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/static/-/dvd/search/ref=d_hp_sn_ser/103-9110438-1549444
(or) http://tinyurl.com/g2aw2

Music:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/static/-/music/search/ref=m_mh_mn_s/103-9110438-1549444
(or) http://tinyurl.com/eh8up

As an additional plug for a useful site, try http://www.isbn.nu/ for an
excellent online retail meta-search based on ISBN numbers.

Hope this helps!
