Laura,
Amazon does have an advanced search that has worked well for me. You can
limit to format there. I often want to buy certain books in pdf format
because they are cheaper and I get them immediately. I just limit by format
and eliminate all the paperback and hardcover versions. Amazon also has a
nice advanced search for classical music. Granted you have to have some idea
about what terms to limit, label or performer or something so the prokofiev
2nd piano concerto did come out with a lot of nonsense until I limited by
Naxos (one of my favorite labels for classical music).
