Why not follow the Google procedure, where if you type in a word like
piza it asks 'did you mean pizza'. Of course that may not solve it
if you really wanted Pisa.
And on Google the search for canata returns an actual result set, so
the example you used doesn't work.
But for those cases where it does work, the Google style of response
may give the clues you want.
