From: HATICE@vm.cc.metu.edu.tr Subject: Library Automation Software for Unix Hello, We are looking for the library automation software which runs on UNIX platform. Therefore, it would be appreciated, if somebody send me list of library automation softwares supported on UNIX platform. Any comments about these softwares are wellcome. A quick answer would be appreciated. Thanks for your cooperation. Let me briefly describe our environment; METU campus has a fiber-optic token ring backbone, and there are number of departmental networks connected to that. These departmental LANs are either UNIX Networks or Novell/Netware or BANYAN/Vines running PC Networks. ALso University has a IBM3090 Mainframe -planning to install AIX/ESA- which is also accessible thru the backbone network. The Common protocol between all of these entities is TCP/IP.
