One of these positions may be extended for a second year. University College Dublin is the largest university in Ireland. The campus is located about 3 miles south of Dublin city center. The MIS group at UCD currently has 8 full-time faculty. The department offers both an undergraduate and graduate specialisation in MIS, as well as providing courses to other undergraduate and graduate programmes. The Graduate School is located on a separate campus and housed in a recently refurbished facility that rivals many of the top business schools in the world. The positions will be at the equivalent of Assistant Professor level and will involve a full, though not necessarily heavy, lecture load (6-10 hours per week for both semesters). Our primary requirement is for people who can make a valuable and dynamic contribution to the design and delivery of courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Visitors who are appointed for 12 months will also be expected to contribute to the ongoing research efforts of the research division of the Graduate School of Business.
