Hi all,
I'm a recent design grad in the DC area, and I'm looking for a library or
archive project where a designer could be useful, paid or volunteer.
My background is UX and information design (BFA, Northeastern, 2026). I'm
especially interested in how people navigate digital collections and
scholarly publishing, and JATS is next on my list to learn for that reason.
If you know of a project that needs help with interface design, usability
testing, or making documentation easier to follow, I'd love to hear about
it. I'm also glad to hear which DC-area groups are worth joining.
