My talented listmates,
Library patron had her house broken into and wants to be able to record any
further break-ins with her iPhone.
She wants the phone screen to be dark so no one can see a light as her
iPhone video records.
I found several sites which instruct you can program the iPhone so you
press 3 fingers on the screen (each time you wish to activate this feature)
to make it go dark and then start recording.
In an emergency, that's not practical.
Isn't there a way to set the Action button or another way a person could
grab their iPhone, press 1 button and the screen goes dark and starts
recording?
Then they press that same button or the screen itself to stop recording?
How would MacGyver make the iPhone work under an emergency?
Would one necessarily have to download some app or can the built in
features of the iPhone handle this task?
