Greetings, colleagues,
The University of North Texas Department of Information Science is seeking participants who are 18 years of age or older and currently engaged in cataloging, metadata management, or other information organization-related work to participate in a research study about the use of generative AI tools in your work. The purpose of the study is to investigate factors influencing workers' intention to use AI-assisted tools and how those factors interrelate. It is funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (LG-256666-OLS-24) and has been approved by the University of North Texas Institutional Review Board for use with human subjects (IRB-24-440).
Participation in this study should take approximately 15 minutes of your time. It includes single-choice and open-ended survey questions.

Participation in this study, including any follow-up activities, is voluntary. After all survey data have been collected, the research team will conduct a lottery to select 30 participants to receive a $15 gift card as compensation for completing the survey. Up to 25 participants may be invited to participate in a follow-up interview. Participants who complete the interview will receive a $25 gift card as compensation.
