We're now accepting proposals for Digital Preservation 2026, NDSA's annual virtual conference taking place November 4–5, 2026.<https://www.ndsa.org/conference/digital-preservation-virtual-2026/cfp/>
This year's theme — Striking a Balance: Optimizing Labor for Sustainability and Resilience — invites conversations around how we allocate effort and resources in an era of budget cuts, AI tools, expanding collections, and constant change. We want to hear how you're navigating it.
Topics can include (but aren't limited to): AI and machine learning, workflows, burnout and emotional labor, advocacy, copyright, change management, partnerships, and more. See the NDSA conference website for more detail!
Format options:
• 5-minute lightning talk
• 15-minute talk or demo
• 25-minute talk or demo
To submit, you'll need:
• Proposal title
• Author name(s), affiliations, and email(s)
• Abstract (50 words max)
• Proposal (250 words)
All presentations will be recorded and hosted on NDSA's YouTube channel under a CC-BY 4.0 license.
