Technical Information Specialists (GS 9-12) - Several positions ranging from reference and access services, archival processing, conservation management and electronic resource management to reviewing and evaluating incoming content, applying authoritative terminology and metadata standards, and transforming data sets from varied coding schemes into standardized formats usable by researchers, clinicians, the public, and automated systems to driving the digitization of centuries of biomedical literature, knowledge, and data, bringing foundational scientific information into the 21st-century research ecosystem to accelerate discovery, innovation, and human health outcomes.
These positions in the User Services and Collection Division (USCD) offer a unique opportunity to work at the world's largest biomedical library, with a mission of acquiring, organizing, and disseminating biomedical knowledge for the benefit of the public's health.
