The administrative side of technology is often far more challenging than
the technical side.

I don't need to do this now, but I've provisioned myself many times in the
past for work purposes. My experience is the advantages far outweigh the
disadvantages -- full control, get things done with what you actually need,
learn useful stuff, take it with you when you move on, etc.

I use AI quite a bit but wonder what the pricing models and what people
create will look like once everyone is addicted, no one knows how to do
anything anymore, and AI learns more of what it knows from its own
hallucinations.
