Greetings, Lyrasis is seeking a client focused and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Data Migration Specialist. This individual must be able to work with others to define functional requirements, communicate complex issues effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment on time sensitive projects. Key activities of the role include extracting, transforming, and loading client data from legacy cultural heritage system(s) into Lyrasis-operated, open-source software platforms. Lyrasis-hosted platforms include ArchivesSpace, CollectionSpace, and DSpace. If you are someone who enjoys solving data problems, you will thrive in this role. Individuals with excellent communication skills, knowledge of current and emerging content and encoding standards for metadata, and strong customer service focus are encouraged to apply.
