Dear all,
The Open Preservation Foundation (OPF) is pleased to welcome The Agency of
Facility Operations of the Flemish authorities (Digital Archives Flanders)
<https://www.vlaanderen.be/het-facilitair-bedrijf-informatiemanagement> as
a new member.
Digital Archives Flanders is a division of the Agency for Facility
Operations. They provide shared services for preservation, management and
dissemination of government information for both records and archives.
These shared services are available to all departments and agencies of the
Flemish public administration, as well as cities, municipalities, and other
government agencies in Flanders.
Neil Jefferies, Executive Director of the OPF, welcomed our newest member.
‘We are thrilled to welcome Digital Archives Flanders as our newest member.
Their desire to engage with an international network of digital
preservation practitioners and experts is paramount to the success of our
sector. The OPF aligns strongly with their strategic goals, and we aim to
be a great support to them as they build a robust digital preservation
infrastructure for the Flemish government.’
