This year, the annual International VuFindŽ Summit will be incorporated into the WOLFcon conference, taking place August 31-September 3, 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic (and streaming online).
See below for the general WOLFcon announcement about registration and the Call for Papers, but please take note of these VuFindŽ-specific details:
* As in past years, talks will be scheduled to accommodate as much of the worldwide audience as practical, and all VuFindŽ Summit sessions will be available as a free stream for remote participants. The link will be shared at vufind.org and in the Open Library Foundation Slack #vufind-general channel during the conference (no registration required). However, participants are strongly encouraged to register for the full WOLFcon conference, both to support the event and to gain access to additional content relating to open source development and other Open Library Foundation projects and initiatives.
* When submitting proposals, be sure to use the VuFindŽ tag to ensure inclusion in the Summit time slots. Remote presenters must have an on-site partner to coordinate streaming and in-person participation. If you are able to help with facilitation or if you need to be matched with a facilitator, please email demian.katz_at_villanova.edu<mailto:demian.katz_at_villanova.edu> and he will help make connections.
* An in-person German VuFindŽ Summit is still planned for late September in Hamburg, Germany. Stay tuned for a separate announcement containing more details about this event.
