Hi all,

You may have seen our earlier announcements about the Loss of Primary
Source of Funding Transition Series. We heard from many of you (through
emails, page views, and some very enlightening conversations!) that the
topic resonated. However, we also heard a consistent theme across all of
those conversations - that there is strong interest in practical tools for
navigating funding loss, and at the same time, limited capacity, financial
and otherwise, to take on new costs in moments like these.

To make these resources accessible when they’re most needed, we’re offering
a free cohort of Educopia’s Loss of Primary Source of Funding Transition
Series. Learn more about the specifics of the workshop series and sign up
here!

This is both an access decision and a learning one. We’re hoping that
offering a free cohort allows organizations to participate without added
financial pressure, and it allows us to continue learning alongside
participants -- what’s most useful across our offerings, what needs
refinement, and what we need to focus on next.

This is a small cohort, and the depth of the experience depends on
participants showing up, engaging, and learning alongside one another.
Attendance, commitment, and participation will go a long way toward what
we’re able to achieve together. Because space is limited, we will be
running a waitlist once the cohort fills. If you’re placed on the waitlist,
we promise we will follow up. Our intention is to support organizations in
this moment however we can, whether that means sharing resources, holding
space for a future cohort, or exploring other ways to connect.

Over 4-sessions, each 2 hours (including breaks), we will blend guided
facilitation, applied exercises, and real-world examples to cover:

   1.

Session 1 (Feb 2): Framing & Runway Assessment
Mapping your financial reality, stakeholders, and options with a runway
   calculator + community mapping tools.
   2.

Session 2 (Feb 9): Pivoting to Sustainability
Exploring revenue scenarios and building a “good enough to try, safe
enough to fail” proposal using a prospecting guide, timeline tool, and
   case-for-support template.
   3.

Session 3 (Feb 16): Responsible Wind Down / Contingency Planning
Developing or refining your wind-down or contingency plan with templates
for budgets, asset disposition, and transition team structure.
   4.

   Session 4 (Feb 23): Communications & Legacy
Creating clear internal and external messaging using the sequencing
tool, and planning for legacy documentation that supports your field.

Workshop facilitators Jessica Meyerson
<https://educopia.org/team-member/jessica-meyerson/> and Aloma Antao
<https://educopia.org/team-member/aloma-antao/> will work with you to
navigate:

   -

Practical frameworks for understanding what kind of transition you’re in
and what decisions it calls for

   -

Guided exercises to help assess options, tradeoffs, and constraints
   -

Structured peer learning with others navigating similar funding realities
   -

Tools and prompts that can be reused with staff, boards, or collaborators

If you’re navigating funding loss, or preparing for it, and this series
initially caught your attention but felt out of reach, we hope this makes
it possible to join.

Free registration is available through Feb 1, 2026.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
