Good afternoon everyone, and welcome back from the holiday break (for most of us, anyway)! While we didn’t quite meet our target timeline for providing registration fees and opening information, we truly appreciate your patience with our planning process.
Registration for the in-person Code4Lib 2026 conference will open next Wednesday, January 14, at noon Eastern US time.
Early registration (on or before Monday, February 9): $425
Late registration (on Tuesday, February 10 or later): $500
Half-day Workshops:
- Registered attendees: $50 each
- Workshop-only attendees: $75 each
Registration includes access to all sessions, coffee breaks, and lunches scheduled from Monday, March 2, through midday Wednesday, March 4. Please note that breakfasts and a reception are not included in this year’s registration fee. To keep the registration fee as low as possible, considering the higher costs of food and AV in a hotel, the planning committee has decided to proceed with planning for the conference without these food functions. However, if we are able to raise more than our targeted amount of sponsorship funds, we will explore options to provide more of the food functions that we typically offer.
We will continue to honor the volunteer discounts offered a few months ago. The process for registering as a volunteer is being ironed out now and will be shared with you all when we announce that registration is open on Wednesday.
As a reminder, we are hosting the conference at the Philadelphia Marriott Old City. We have reserved a block of rooms at the hotel, with a nightly rate of $199 (plus taxes of 16.37%). If possible, we encourage attendees to stay at the hotel. Code4Lib has committed to filling a minimum number of guest rooms as part of our contract. Staying at the hotel benefits Code4Lib significantly, is more convenient, and a lot more FUN! You will receive the link to book in the conference block in your registration confirmation email.
