Upcoming LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group Project Series session on August 19th!

Previous sessions’ slides and recordings can be found on the project page. This third session will focus on creating items for persons and adding statements to those items.

We will review searching in Wikidata and have a practical, hands-on exercise where everyone can create a new person item and add some statements.

The LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group is associated with the LD4 Community and investigates how libraries can contribute to and better integrate library metadata with Wikidata to improve access to library resources on the web. The Affinity Group calls provide an informal space to share information and learn more about Wikidata.
