The link below has a Tom's Hardware overview of Windows 10 and 11 "built in" backup options including Backup & Restore, File History, and OneDrive (Cloud Backup).

Our public library IT support bought into an AOMEI commercial Windows backup software package that works with Bitlocker, Scheduler, and can target network shares and external drives - all very useful. It's shortcomings include no built-in support for Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) source directories and that it requires add on service fees for its own Cloud backup offering since it would not support OneDrive or Sharepoint cloud destinations. ( I stopped using WSL2 Ubuntu but tried a variety of functional but unsatisfying approaches including NFS, Rsync, Xcopy, and good old File Explorer.)
