I agree with Mike. Yes, the job postings can get overwhelming, but we can filter them as we see fit. I, for one, as a manager in a medium-sized library like to sometimes take a look at job postings to see what job tasks are required in similar positions to my staff so that if someone were to end employment at my institution, it provides an opportunity to then amend the vacant job description to keep our positions marketable to prospective qualified candidates.
