I got in "trouble" once trying to snazz up an internal powerpoint for our internal group. Added some moving backgrounds, figuring hey these look cool.
Little did I know, my boss had a propensity to motion sickness, and watching my slides made her nauseous. 🙂

My esteemed listmates,
Many PPTs I've seen (and probably created :) aren’t as compelling as they
could be.
But, I've learned recently how to infuse your slides with video and audio.
The challenge can be balancing the information you wish to share but adding
just the correct amount (or kind) of video/audio to make the slide more
involving for an audience without it being distracting.
Maybe you use (or create) a GIF or short video clip running in the
background?
Or a fun instrumental (any Vivaldi fans?) or a song which fits your
presentation theme?
Would you please share or link to any PPTs (including your own) you think
strike the correct balance?
