Hello!
We are hiring a Library Technician in our Technical Services department at Douglas College in New Westminster, BC. Looking for an individual with interest in cataloging zines, artists’ books and other special collection materials. We also have a few exciting projects coming up (homosaurus, decolonizing subject headings). Please note, the job description outlines a wide range of duties; however the focus for this role will primarily be on cataloguing and some batch processing/editing MARC records (training in MARCEdit will be provided, prior experience an asset!). Our ILS is FOLIO so an individual with interest in bibframe and linked data is also an asset.
