We have some videos that we're currently hosting on electronic platform (Panopto). What we're looking for is a solution where only one user at a time can view the video. Ideally, a user would "check out" the video to watch and if someone else would attempt to do so, the second person would get a message saying something like "in use" or "video is currently checked out."
Anyone out there in library land already doing such a thing? Do any of the LMS's out there offer a scenario like this for electronic items?
