IF you can get ahold of a copy of InDesign CS6, it can load the files and convert them to indesign format.  however, versions above cs 6 have issues, from what I've seen.

I don't know for sure, but after Adobe bought PageMaker, they replaced it with InDesign, so it's quite likely that they had some ability for InDesign to read the files from the software they deprecated.
