Wikipedia suggests you could try LibreOffice or OpenOffice. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_PageMaker
(This inspired me to look up what might deal with my old AppleWorks files, and the answer seems to be the same. Mostly I've been opening in a plain text editor then deleting any blocks of formatting gibberish - but then my files have very little of that, this wouldn't work well at all for something involving lots of layout.)

Code4Lib,
The athletics department at my university has several files made with PageMaker 6.5 (extension = .p65). Does anyone know of currently-available software that would open these?
Best,
