Hi Katherine,

I've searched around on both Waze and Google Maps and do not see any
icon (or legend for flooding) on either.

Would you pls share a screenshot of what they look like on Waze or Google Maps?

I saw a sunshine icon. :)

Thank you,

Charles.

Hi Charles,

You can check routes on a desktop/laptop computer before leaving work
or home. Both Google Maps and Waze can do this.

But for real time updates and directions, you'll need to have the app
on your mobile because both apps uses GPS signal and a mobile data
connection to provide the directions.

Alternatively, you could purchase an "old school" GPS navigation unit?

But this is still assuming that Google and Waze have the latest and
correct information about the flooded roads.

Cheers,

Katherine
