Likert scales + usage statistics?

Hello Folks!

I am beginning the process of analyzing our 2024 MISO survey results, and a colleague posed an interesting question/idea:

Comparing the "satisfaction" and "frequency" results on the likert scale for certain services- for example, reported frequency by faculty of usage of offline access to e-resources etc. as compared to actual usage statistics. This is still very much a beginning stages/unformed analysis but-

Wondering if anyone has done or seen similar studies? And/or has recommendations for types of methodology or comparison techniques.

Happy to clarify any of this further if it is unclear

Best,
Julia
