How do we read on the web? Is reading on the web really reading?
In this two-hour session, attendees will learn writing techniques to make websites easily readable and scannable. Identifying effective headings, page titles, and trigger words will also be covered. In addition, this session will show how to simplify complex writing, explaining how shortening sentences makes a website more readable.
Learning objectives for this session include:
* Identifying scannable text
* Defining "trigger words" and their significance to scannable websites
* Simplifying complex writing
