MS 3D Paint - creating a Marker

My esteemed listmates,

Anyone use MS 3D Paint?

Not MS Paint but 3D?

I’ve watched an educational webinar and 3 YouTube videos re: creating a
marker.

I reach the point of drawing a lined outline around the object I wish to
create/retain as a marker.

I click Remove and then drag that off the Canvas but unlike in the videos
it doesn’t remove all the background or other images in the photo.

There must be some nuance that’s not being mentioned.

Your insights would be appreciated.
