Exporting a GitHub Pages Website (Without Really Learning Jekyll)

I have a GitHub Pages site that I plan to use in a conference presentation.

I learned enough about Jekyll to get GitHub Pages to generate the website
in the cloud.

I cannot find an option to export the generated site pages.

I have attempted to generate the site locally with Jekyll, but I am finding
the framework and the tools to be a bit elusive.

Would anyone have advice to offer?
