This position reports to the Director of E-Resources and Digital Services for the Florida Academic Library Cooperative (FALSC) of the Florida Virtual Campus (FLVC) in Gainesville, Florida. This position manages the suite of digital library platforms and services provided by FALSC, supervises digital platforms staff, serves as the lead for Islandora development and implementation, actively engages in the Islandora community on state and national levels, and sets strategic direction and oversees projects to see that the goals of the unit are met. **Education:** Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization with four (4) years of experience. This position requires a criminal background check and a valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications: Masters' degree in Library Science. Five (5) years of professional experience in digital initiatives, digital collections or direct experience in digital publishing. Knowledge of digital library and archive metadata standards and digital platforms. Familiarity with open-source products and working with open-source development and communities. Project management experience.
