Web Systems Librarian Virginia Commonwealth University Richmond Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries seeks faculty candidates for Web Systems Librarian. The Web Systems Librarian will advance the online library experience, leveraging web best practices and usability research. The Web Systems Librarian will collaborate with colleagues across the library and an internal web development team to make the VCU Libraries web experience more functional, rich and engaging. Salary commensurate with experience, not less than $50,000. Review of applications will begin **October 1, 2016** and will continue until the position is filled. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. Although experience in certain areas is desirable, this is an entry-level position in which candidates who demonstrate excellent promise and a passion for creating superior web user experiences and robust, stable systems will be given the most serious consideration.
