Ryan,
Also, I think it would be better to turn email confirmation back on before the spam bots discover this.
I don't know a way to manually confirm email addresses from the admin front end, but what I have done in the past was run this mysql query on the db:
> update user set user_email_authenticated='20130207111111' where user_name='Theusername';

Alisak.

When I checked the headers, I'm seeing X-Spam-score of 9 or 10 from the confirmation emails (rordway_at_oregonstate.edu) and password reset emails (ryanwick_at_gmail.com). I received both messages fine, and they didn't land in my spam/junk folder. Perhaps other people might have had those messages land in their spam/junk folders? Assuming the messages left the oregonstate.edu server.
