The State Library of New Mexico seeks an innovative and dynamic Library
Technology Coordinator. This position will coordinateand
promote the use of emerging library technologies to support the State
Library's leadership role among New Mexico's libraries. By keeping abreast of
library technologies, the librarianidentifies trends in
technology that would enhance the role of librarians to serve individuals
throughout the state and makes recommendations for purchase and
implementation. The librarian monitors and evaluates the State Library's
website, social mediapresence, database subscriptions and
other library technology-
based
Requires a Master's Degree from an ALA accredited program, and two years post-
degree experience performing and providing advanced library technical
operations, effective library and information services, plus cataloging
experience and managerial experience. The State Library is located in the
distinctive community of Santa Fe, one of Forbes' America's Top 25 Towns to
Live Well. At the foot of the Rocky Mountains, the Old West
